Wasting Days delivers hard rock with a groove that’s been
absent from the genre for decades. Formed in late 2005, this
explosive list of all-stars has quickly solidified their
reputation as one of the premiere unsigned live acts in the
Mid-West. Fusing together honest and memorable songwriting with
a brazen story-like intensity, this dynamic band has managed to
create an anthemic sound that is truly arena ready.
Wasting Days’
ability to combine and incorporate the best of several genres
into their music at once creates a very broad marketing and
audience appeal. Bridging the gap between today's alternative
rock and metal, Wasting Days has the ability to 'scratch the
musical itch' of any and all that has an appreciation for the
above genres at once.
Wasting Days’ 2009 CD release, "Beautiful Shame" is an absolute
'smoker' from the first track to the last. Every track on this
CD is 'radio perfect, hit material'. In fact, “DRIVE” already
has, and is steadily gaining regular rotation on a significant
number of mainstream, internet, and satellite radio stations
both nationally and worldwide. The band’s ability to produce an
entire album that is ‘radio perfect’ is another factor that
places Wasting Days in the forefront of other bands on the rise
in the music industry. They are a worthy contender of already
established headlining bands of their genres, or at least a very
smart and viable choice as an opening/supporting act to increase
the concert ticket sales of major headliners in the same genres.
Their live performances are equally, if not exceedingly as
impressive as their studio performances, with a stage presence,
dynamics, and showmanship that is nothing less than mind
blowing.
Though Wasting Days’ "Beautiful Shame" CD was a total
independently produced effort, it did not take long for this
excellent piece of musical genius to get noticed by the 'powers
that be' in the music industry. Wasting Days was signed shortly
thereafter by the esteemed independent record label EliteROCK
Records, and will be hitting the road soon to get started on
their promotional tour late 2009, according to their booking
agent Charles Hopper.
Wasting Days has also gained experience opening for headlining
acts such as: Mudvayne, Korn, Chevelle, Slipknot, Staind, Black
Label Society, Neverset and Drowning Pool; and Wasting Days is
known for packing out venues to capacity where they perform.
Wasting Days' hot CD "Beautiful Shame" will be available at
iTunes, Amazon, Hot Topic, Rhapsody, MySpace and available at
